In 1968 Donald Maier graduated from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, in Newark, New Jersey. He is well known for his watercolor and oil paintings of western landscape and the desert. He has had numerous one-man shows and has exhibited in many fine galleries. During the cooler months he would focus on everyday urban settings using dry pastels. We were so drawn to these pastel drawings that we decided to post them.
