It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just over a week away! Hopefully you’ve been able to enjoy some slower moments during all the busyness of the season. We’re looking forward to a few more Christmas gatherings with family and friends in the upcoming week and put together this rosemary garland to add a simple, festive touch to our party table. We love that it’s easy and quick to make — definitely a must during this busy time of year — and that it adds a bit of natural greenery to the table. We’re sharing the tutorial below.
Besides keeping it simple with decor, one of our go-tos for effortless entertaining are simple appetizers and desserts. For the last few years, our Christmas day celebration is just appetizers & desserts – no big dinner. It leaves everyone happy & full, and no one is too stressed trying to prep a dinner for our big family (there’s close to 30 of us!). We love putting together simple charcuterie platters for gatherings, not only does it include some of our favorite foods (cheese, meats, crackers!), they’re easy to do. We partnered with 34 Degrees for this gathering and love the flavor and variety of crackers they have, from savory to sweet. We chose 34 Degrees Natural crackers and 34 Degrees Toasted Onion crackers which paired perfectly with the cheese, dip and meats we were serving. 34 Degrees crackers are the key to effortless entertaining – eat them straight from the box or top them with cheese, dips, charcuterie and more!
Materials:
-fresh rosemary
-wired jute twine
-floral wire
-pliers/wire cutters
Directions:
Attach sprigs of rosemary to the wired jute twine by wrapping with floral wire. Continue until garland is desired length.
