Outdoor season is almost here! I personally can’t wait for the days to get longer and the sun to show itself more often. When spring arrives, outdoor living starts with a thorough cleaning of my patio and taking care of the plants. I fill the large black containers with new plants and others are trimmed so they can grow nicely again.
Borek outdoor collection
With the outdoor season approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to show you the Borak . Borek has been creating stylish and timeless garden furniture from high-quality materials with a team of renowned Dutch designers for more than forty years. The family business puts comfort and sustainability first in its designs and is inspired by influences from the design and fashion world.
With the right garden furniture, the indoor enjoyment is brought out in an attractive way. Not only is the outdoors associated with gardening, but also with a place to read and relax. And how about making dinner outside in the new and eating together at a sturdy table. Dinners al fresco and a beautiful table setting are definitely a favourite memory of mine. I selected two tables from their collection and of course I had to show you the beautiful outdoor kitchen!
Jamie Outdoor Kitchen
If you followed the build of my own kitchen, you might remember I choose a dark Keyla Dekton countertop: The Borek Jamie Outdoor Kitchen is a design by Frans van Rens and the top and drawers are provided with the same dark Keyla. A beautiful Dekton with a subtle veining pattern.
The outdoor kitchen contains a sink area, a tap and a large induction plate. The wide drawers provide plenty of storage space for cutlery, pans and your favorite crockery. In addition, the drawers are equipped with a push-release system and a soft close closure.
Used in combination with the high Jamie Dining table against the side of the outdoor kitchen an extensive cooking island is created. The Jamie Outdoor Kitchen has a sleek design and the use of Dekton in combination with the anthracite frame makes it look like it has been made from a single block of marble.
Jamie Dining table
The Jamie Dining table is part of the Jamie series by Frans van Rens. Not only suitable in combination with the Jamie Outdoor Kitchen but also as as single table an asset to your outdoor space. Like the outdoor kitchen the base is made of anthracite, while the table top is provided with the dark Keyla colour composition.
The table is 95 centimeters high and also available with adjustable heating elements that are integrated over the entire table length. Jamie Dining table is also available in different size and tabletop choices, and in a regular height of 75 centimeters, as pictured below.
I love how the Rob Chair completes the design with its aluminum legs in a bronze tone, a back made of woven Ardenza rope and Prato upholstery.
Borek outdoor furniture
In the morning I like to sit at the garden table with breakfast or just with a nice coffee. In the summer I always take this daily moment and often I look for the garden when the sun is shining here in the afternoon. I think that if you have the space, different furniture for different moments and functions complement the greenery in every garden or balcony.
A complete kitchen may not be suitable for everyone, but even a small sitting area or a few chairs around a table can make your garden an extension of your house. And if you have the space for a large table I would definitely go for it! Dinner table Faro
The Borek is a design by Dutch interior designer Bertram Beerbaum and is suitable for eight to ten people. The base is made of a dark powder-coated aluminum and the top of Dekton, a material made from a mixture of glass, porcelain and quartz. Both materials are also very suitable for being outside all year round. On request the table top is also available in other colors via MisterDesign where you will find lot of more outdoor furniture in bothe aluminium and wood.
