After two years of absence due the pandami, I visited the vtwonen & design fair again. Those who follow my blog for some years have seen many editions covered on the blog over the last 10 years or so. For the first time the location was changed from the Rai in Amsterdam South, where I could easily bike too, to a location at Vijfhuizen, just outside Haarlem.
Still only half an hour away and to be honest I love this location for its beautiful light coming in. Due the lack of daylight and fresh air visiting a fair can be really tiring sometimes. I am a frequent fair visitor, find a selection of my work for some of the best fairs It is something I love, not only for staying up to date and inform blog readers, like yourself, but also for meeting friends and colleagues.
Next to the different brands and magazines, like Ariadne at Home, Stijlvol wonen, Landelijk wonen and Eigen huis & interieur. vtwonen magazine was present with vt city a large section with 4 different spaces : Color vibe home by Marianne, Old & new home by Fietje. The travel loft by Liza and A space with rooms styled around the products from the vtwonen collection.

Just like last time I was most drawn to the home styled by Liza and therefore partly on the blog today. The home was really crowded and therefor images are a bit out of balance, but still you will hopefully get an impression. The travel home felt well lived and filled with travel treasures and beautiful objects, different fabrics and materials all in a muted somehow moody colour scheme. A combination of old and new, handcraft, art and sourced objects from faraway places.
