A while back it was super trendy to paint bedrooms in petrol blue, which was very dark and kind of a statement. I loved the look of this but am much more a fan of these toned down blue walls in this Swedish bedroom. The muted blue wall colors are very cool, while elements like the art prints, warm beige blanket on the bed and the wooden floor add a very warm touch. This cool and warm combination works so nicely together and the style is so refreshing to see.
