A modular sofa arrangement creates an island of comfort in the center of the open-plan living space. The split brown and black composition divides the bulk of the sofa and creates visual interest. A light gray area rug unites the dual-tone stretch.
Sliding glass doors divide the lounge area from a kitchen diner. The glazed doors can be closed to keep out cooking smells and sounds or opened up to provide a free-flowing social space. A rattan hanging chair nestles in the corner of the room to create a cozy reading nook.
