Almost three years ago, I shared our bedroom makeover. We built a new bed and nightstands, gave the room a fresh coat of paint and added in an accent wall. The one thing we didn’t do, change out the ceiling light. And for the last few years, when I lay in bed and look up at the ceiling, I’ve hated how that light looks. We finally got around to giving that light a makeover, and I love the new look!
This ceiling light makeover was sooo simple and fairly cheap; I’m not sure why I waited so long to get around to it! We already had the pendant shade, and I used a paint sample I had gotten when trying to find cabinet colors.
This ceiling light makeover doesn’t feel like too much of a DIY, but I wanted to share what I’ve been working on and the latest update to our bedroom (you can see the new freebie dresser Mike found for me in the photo below too!).
