Camp Adventure Park was designed by Danish architecture firm EFFEKT which will debut in the summer of 2018. It is a tourist destination and natural observation that offers new and unique experiences. Located one hour south of Copenhagen, Denmark, the Treetop Experience begins by walking through the forest of Gisselfeld Klosters Skove which has a section to stop and relax, or explore nature and study. The forest was dotted with several natural biotope such as lakes, creeks, and wetlands.
A 900 meter treetop walk connected to a 45 meter tall observation tower creates a unique opportunity to walk on top of a tree and see nature from a preserved forest. The tower and treetop walk is as a seamless continuous ramp that makes the forest accessible to everyone regardless of their physical condition.
The route through the trees passes gently and sensitively through various forest varieties, while minimizing environmental disturbances. There are two treetop walk which are divided into higher and lower walkway. The high walkway will pass through the oldest part of the forest, while lower towers and trails are located in younger areas. For those of you who want to learn and enjoy the quality of the forest, the choice of high walkway is very suitable for your purpose.
The culminating feature of the treetop walk is the tower and observation deck located 45 meters in a ground bag. Geometry towers are formed to enhance the visitor’s experience, avoiding the typical cylindrical shape for a curved profile with a slim waist and enlarged crown base. This not only aims to increase the stability of the tower but also increases the observation deck area at the top of the tower. Besides allowing visitors to better contact with the forest canopy.
In the future, the new treetop walk and observation tower will be part of Camp Adventure, an adventure sports facility that includes treetop climbing and aerial zip lines.
