Written by design journalist Annie Reid with visual contributions from Shannon McGrath’s longstanding archive, Assemblage: The Art of the Room features Australian interiors, architecture, and the talented designers and artisans behind some of the country’s most captivating homes.
Through 24 inspiring interiors, the publication highlights how homes are not simply functional spaces but carefully curated collections of meaningful objects and belongings. “Ultimately, we hope the book will inspire you to find your own places to create joy and magic,” Reid states.
Through McGrath’s 25 years of award-winning photography, Reid’s seasoned architecture perspective and Marcus Piper’s introspective design, Assemblage: The Art of the Room encompasses the enduring originality that defines some of Australia’s most beautiful homes.
