An Ikea Classic Two Ways

Revisiting an Ikea classic today, the BESTÅ series offers simple yet functional storage solutions for the living room along with plenty of sideboard styling inspiration. With customisable dimensions, a selection of frames, gaps, fronts, leg stands, knobs and handles, the options are fun and varied. Demonstrating two styles below, the wall mounted sideboard in white-lacquered oak is my favourite. I can’t resist the clean lines, pale wood finish and low level storage. Providing plenty of space on top to display a lamp, books, artwork and favourite objects, I love the effortless styling and textural details.

The second design features a concrete-inspired finish, white marble top plate and new legs in chrome steel. A little more moody with a darker palette this time, I love the textured walls and rustic details.
