These have been strange times to say the least and for me personally staying home for extended periods of time has made me both more and less creative. I find that routines work wonders, not only during work hours, but also during free time. I decided there will be no days without fresh air anymore (those are the worst I think), I try to make my home and workplace as beautiful and inspiring as possible, I talk to friends and family on a regular basis and most importantly, I use all this extra time to take more care about myself.
I added a little something extra from Aesop (gift) to my desk and am using the Béatrice Oil blend while I’m working – it’s a warm and enlivening blend of earthy and citrus notes and it gives my space a delicate scent that just elevates my work mood. It’s the small things we do that make all the difference, especially now.
