This exotic hotel designed by French architect Laura Vautherin is located in Tulum, Mexico. Four of its eight suites include their own swimming pools and gardens, and epitomise the indoor-outdoor life with glass roofs, private terraces and alfresco showers. There are touches of the rustic about the space, with its carved stone sinks, dried palm leaves and flashes of cacti peering in. Communal areas are also screened by tropical greenery and whitewashed walls that reflect the sun.
