It’s almost the end of the year and I wanted to post my latest basket/rope for 2016.

I’ve enjoyed this craft very much, but I’ve only scratched the surface, I need to practice more! Hopefully I’ll have some time during the Christmas break.

For this bowl I bought the tutorial on Etzy from the Lost property HK.

I had plenty of rope from my macrame classes and embroidery floss threads from previews craft projects.

What I love about this tutorial is that you could make the bowl any size and it would be great to make a set eventually, perhaps in different colours.

Finished bowl, just the ends have to be tucked in.
