Hudson Valley Farm by Chused & Co. sees a centuries-old Millbrook farmhouse gently refreshed without losing its soul. Working alongside architect Doug Larson, the team embraced the home’s quirks … sloping floors, antique glass, timeworn moldings … while sharpening the layout and adding new life. Inspired by the estate’s literary past and pastoral setting, moody colours, rich textures and collected objects create a warm, layered retreat. Hidden details and quiet surprises make the house feel intimate, playful and perfectly lived-in for modern family weekends.
