After my trip to Tenerife I am more than ready for Summer and more sun. Last Summer I got the beautiful Bryck couch for my patio including a large pouf and I can’t wait to not only add more greens to my patio but also a few nice pots. Thinking about a small table for a coffee, the latest news in my mailbox from 101 Copenhagen showed the perfect solution with the Column Table including a few nice pots!

Brutus series
As you know, I love black but for Summer the Sand, or if you prefer the all white, Brutus chair looks amazing on any terrace.This collection is inspired inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century, the Brutus collection comprises a dining chair, a lounge chair, a stool and a coffee table cast in lightweight fibre concrete creating a unique surface texture increasing mobility.
Each piece is hand painted to create a textured, unique surface. Emphasizing the fine balance between sharp architectural lines and a somewhat softer curve in the back and armrest, the Brutus collection is sculptural statement pieces with a compelling seating comfort.
Column Table
Due to its minimalistic design the Column Table would be the perfect little table for my patio, what I love is that it can also stand alone as a sculpture by itself or be used as a pedestal for exhibiting objects. The geometric and sharp lines were inspired by the classic architectural shapes of columns and pillars, with the attempt to create a simple and flexible side table.
Urchin Plant Pots
Inspired by the shape of a sea urchin, Urchin is characterized by a large oval pot, resting on top of what appears to be three massive legs. Designed as a new take on the traditional plant pot saucer, the massive legs can hold water from a plant and allows the plant to breath.
Urchin comes in four sizes. Each Urchin includes two pieces, a plant pot and saucer. Both plant pot and saucer are waterproof and a small hole in the bottom of the pot, ensures a good water and air flow for the plant.
