If a gold kitchen seems a little bold for the quiet suburb of Armadale in Melbourne’s south-east, then think again. In an audacious move which sets the tone for the rest of the space, architect and interior designer Rob Mills took the ultimate risk when designing his own family home. The home in a former life was once a three-story warehouse which still maintains its warehouse-style — albeit with an updated, modern charm.
