The blue bedroom wall color stands out powerfully in this beautiful turn-of-the-century home in Sweden (Photographed by Henrik Linden for Alvhem). The blue paint color pops out in the interior and can be seen from the living room.

The living room with warm grey walls is decorated modestly, making the white historic details stand out. Through the historic double interior doors, the blue bedroom walls take all the attention. The subtle design of the kitchen with grey shaker cabinets is enhanced with a cozy breakfast nook by the dining table.

The bedroom features a custom-built wardrobe spread over the entire bedroom wall. It fits around the doorway, allowing for optimal integration in the space. The wardrobe is painted in the same color as the walls, for a tone-on-tone effect in the space.

Since a lovely pop of color is coming from the bedroom, the color palette of the living room is kept quite modest. The natural palette includes a warm grey wall color, an off-white sofa and area rug, and a variety of wood tones spread throughout the space.

The kitchen is fitted mostly on one side of the floor plan, allowing an area on the other side for a small dining table. Since only limited space is available, a breakfast nook provides the perfect solution for optimizing the space available.

The blue bedroom walls are a true focal point in the apartment. The dark paint color makes the white crown molding and the light color palette in the textiles stand out.

The bedroom wardrobe is built wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling. By painting it with the same blue paint color, it has a very integrated effect and blends in with the rest of the space.

The wardrobe is fully customized to the space. The doorway is integrated inside the structure, which allows for the entire wall surface to be optimally used for storage.
