Aside from the obvious interior beauty of this bright and airy Finnish home, the architectural elements are really interesting. At first I thought it was a new build, but judging by the original curved window in one of the living areas, it’s more than likely a renovation, and an inspiring one at that. I’ve always loved built-in shelves but there are also little alcoves that cleverly break up the walls to let in light and provide little nooks for plants and objects. The interior features beautiful Artek furniture and lighting by Finnish designer Alvar Aalto – the Artek Aalto Tea Trolley never fails to impress. Along with classic Wishbone chairs by Hans J Wegner, Marimekko glassware and Dinesen flooring, the home exudes style, while timber elements and earthy ceramics bring in plenty of warmth.

How amazing is the built-in wine rack? There’s also a luxurious bathroom and sauna that you must see. Take a look here.
