Neutral, natural, simple decorations are always my preference for Christmas and beyond. And if they’re DIY decorations, even better! One of my favourite materials to make Christmas decorations is paper. Whether that’s wrapping paper, cardboard or even basic printer paper, there are so many possibilities. These DIY paper flowers are so simple yet stunning! Can you guess what paper they’re made from? Yep — old paperback book pages. I love the simplicity of the book pages but if you wanted to go for a more festive look, try using wrapping paper scraps. These do take some time to make but they’re easy to do and make such a pretty decoration.
These DIY paper tree ornaments couldn’t be prettier! They’re made using basic printer paper which has been printed with some simple graphic patterns like dots and grids on both sides. I’m sure you’ve guessed what these stars are made from — toilet paper rolls! What a simple but stylish idea. I love them as they are but you could also paint a few of them in black or white.
