A glazed architect’s house overlooking nature
Designed and built by the Milanese architect Marco Merendi, Casa Vendicari is a structure of pure form that respects the light, character and silence of the Sicilian land, where it was built. Located just outside the Vendicari nature reserve, the house has an infinite view over the reserve’s horizon and the sea. The symbiosis is perfect between the stone of Noto and the lava stone of Mount Etna, and the bold and brutal forms.
