Tour the Philippines: Best of with Flying the Nest

Can’t get enough of Stephen and Jess’ adventures through the Philippines? Neither can we! That’s why we’re sharing this second bonus episode, where you’ll see exactly what happened when this couple, also known as Flying the Nest, spent 19 days exploring the beautiful Philippines. There was rain, there were kids, there were… coffins? – but most of all, there was adventure and fun! Stick around while we explore with Stephen and Jess.

The first journey the couple went on in the Philippines was an incredible three-day hike through rice terrace and lush jungles. If the idea of walking across gorgeous green spaces, from mountains to farmland and everything in between, isn’t enough to make you want to start packing your bags, how about authentic local experiences? Stephen and Jess were able to stay in local guest houses, getting to know residents big and small, and enjoying local hospitality on their amazing hike.

If a three-day hike seems too intense for you, Stephen and Jess are here to tell you that the views and experiences you’ll encounter along the way make the journey more than worth it! It’s hard to disagree when you see the views from the couples’ peaceful lookout point, which Stephen describes as being on-par with Machu Picchu. You may have heard that the Philippines is beautiful, but, according to Flying the Nest, you won’t truly understand how beautiful until you’ve seen it in person. That sounds like a good enough reason to visit to us!

From trekking through underground rivers to climbing to the top of an active volcano, the adventures seem to be endless for our two eager explorers! Stephen and Jess certainly prove that, sometimes, the best adventures are the ones that happen when you travel to a place you’ve never been before and trust the process. You never know what you’ll discover when you’re in the middle of nowhere!

We’re sure Flying the Nest’s Stephen and Jess have made you dream of the Philippines, so why not start planning an adventure just like theirs? Head over to TourRadar to find tours with this itinerary and plenty of other incredible experiences in the Philippines to start your adventure today!
