Located in the heart of Amsterdam on the corner of the famous Nine Streets and the world heritage Prinsengracht canal, this recently completed project was created by in collaboration with interior design studio . Providing a calming sanctuary within a bustling city, the Nieuw Apartment marries nordic archetypical simplicity with Parisian elegance.
Thoughtful and considered, the concept of a quiet place to disconnect is expressed through natural tones and materials. Warm grey painted walls paired with dark treated wooden flooring provide a warm and calming ambience for the space. A careful curation of design classics, fine finishes and complimentary hues results in a residence that is both contemporary yet timeless.
Ibiza-based interior design studio were enlisted to provide the finishing elements of the design. Founded by interior architect Jurjen van Hulzen in 2014, following the success of his two Amsterdam companies – an architectural practice and a furniture store – Ibiza Interiors has grown to be a full service project company to help professional developers and private clients realise their dream projects. In collaboration with their partner store in Amsterdam, the Nieuw Apartment has been furnished with a beautiful mix of design classics from brands such as , , and and conceptual furniture brands like , , and .
