Just like our homes, the spaces we spend our working hours in shape who we are. While there has been considerable rethinking around the concept of a workspace, one thing remains the same: they should bring out the best in us.

At est, we believe an inspired workspace reflects an appreciation for thoughtful design. Be it in simplicity or experimentation, there is no denying the value of a well-curated hub for co-working, collaboration and creativity. Forget the piling papers on your desk – we have brought together a selection of workspaces from around the globe, stylishly paving the way for where and how we work. These are the kinds of green-filled, open spaces that ensure you are less likely to look at the clock or dread another Monday, making for an enticing place to return to each working day.

Gywnne Street Studio by Biasol

Creatives need a creative hub and the Gywnne Street Studio by Biasol is exactly that. Inspired by its print production history, the warehouse conversion unites raw textures, bold blue hues, quality finishes and natural light strikingly brought in with the exposed ceiling and floor-to-ceiling transparent glass framework .

The New Work Project by The New Design Project

Hot off the press is The New Work Project in Williamsburg designed by the New Design Project and JAM Architecture. Boasting a grand materiality of marble, pale oak flooring, brass and white globe pendants and custom-made furniture inspired by the iconic designs of Pierre Jeanneret, walking into a workplace this glamorous would hardly seem like a day in the office at all.

Cloud Coworking by Mesura

Drawing on Nordic minimalism, the Cloud Coworking space by Mesura is crisp and clean thanks to white-washed walls and ceilings. Contrasted by black and warmed by plywood, there’s no stale office atmosphere here, with an abundance of natural air purifiers in the form of lush indoor greenery.

PDG Offices by Studio Tate

The phrase ‘corporate’ often conjures up images of bland and sterile environments, stifling productivity and creativity. Studio Tate turn this on its head in their highly conceptual design of the PDG Headquarters. The resplendent workspace was influenced by the concept of a European tailored suit, characterised by attention to craftsmanship, of walnut timber veneer walls and slab stone trim. The hardest part of the day would have to be leaving!

The Working Capitol by Takenouchi Webb

Outside, The Working Capitol by Takenouchi Webb appears as any other well-kept heritage building in Chinatown Singapore, but inside you’ll surely be surprised at its contemporary interior that spans co-working spaces, private offices, event spaces and a cafe, speaking perfectly to the young professional.

Jingyuan No.22 CoWorking Office by C+architects

C+architects have redesigned an old cotton warehouse in Beijing for two internet finance companies to call home. Built around a need for interactive, flexible working, it seems to us that the building and its employees may be just as progressive as each other.
