As soon as I saw the subject line ‘Atelier Cph x THE POSTER CLUB’ in an email I received yesterday I got excited! I love the work of Copenhagen-based design Studio and of course their new prints didn’t disappoint. Following on from the success of their recent collection of art prints which you may remember from , have now launched two new abstract art prints made for . The gorgeous prints are part of , a new series of art prints made exclusively for the international Copenhagen-based online store by various designers, artists and photographers.
‘For this collection we explored different styles from cubism to abstract sculptures. The inspiration for the limited collection is found in contrasting materials and sculptures where the human face gets interpreted in an abstract way. The art work is created by layering elements of hand painted shapes and colours. The colour palette is inspired by the 70’s, adding a splash of colour to the home.’
These beautiful images provide plenty of inspiration when it comes to styling the prints. I often lean towards monochrome, but I also love the touch of colour. The warm tones go hand in hand with the abstract style don’t you think?
