It’s hard to believe, but physical copies of my first book arrived at my Studio this week! Since 2020 is a year for going with the flow and being brave, I decided to be a good baby YouTuber and set up a couple cameras to record my actual reaction to unboxing and paging through physical copies of Latch Hook for the first time. It’s fun & you can also see a bit of my Studio space in the process. In the second half of the video, I do kind of a show and tell featuring the project samples designed for the book to illustrate what you can make with this beginner-friendly title.
Latch Hook: 12 Projects for the Modern Maker book unboxing & project preview
Here’s how I described the video on YouTube. (Because I’m tired of writing about myself today! )
First time craft book author Heidi Gustad (HandsOccupied.com) unboxes copies of her book, Latch Hook: 12 Projects for the Modern Maker for the first time ever. Then she takes you on a virtual tour of her book, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and the real-life samples created for the book. This should illustrate what contemporary latch hooking projects can be made with this book designed for beginners.
Where can I buy your book?
The one bit of bad news – you can’t order a copy of my book just yet. I held off blogging about this as long as possible in the hope that I’d have a preorder link to share, but alas! You’ll have to wait until (probably) next week for the order link. I have to trust that y’all know I’m not holding out on you, but to be clear: as soon as I have an order link I will share it with you all!
