Pumpkins, vampires, spiders, witches, ghosts … all of them have been going around my head when I was trying to choose a theme to participate in the , proposed by Xandra from .
Calabazas, vampiros, arañas, brujas, fantasmas… todo esto ha estado dando vueltas en mi cabeza a la hora de elegir tema para participar en el que nos ha propuesto Xandra de .
I knew in advance that I wouldn’t get enough time to catch the hook due to my work in this part of year in which my basket of yarn remains sadly neglected in a corner during most of the time. I decided to crochet these two little projects: a small crochet pumpkin and the “spider web” crochet earrings you can see now. Fortunately, they both can be made in no time.
Sabía de antemano que iba a tener muy poco tiempo libre para coger la aguja porque mi trabajo es realmente absorbe en esta época del año y mi cesta de lanas permanece tristemente abandonada en un rincón la mayor parte del tiempo. Finalmente opté por hacer estos dos pequeños proyectos: una pequeña calabaza de ganchillo y los pendientes “telaraña” que ahora veis. Afortunadamente ambos se puede hacer en dos ratitos de nada.

The “spider web” earrings were a request from my daughter to complete her Halloween costume and I made them on the fly. The pattern is also below.
Los pendientes “telaraña” me los pidió mi hija para completar su disfraz de Halloween de este año e improvisé algo sobre la marcha. Os pongo el patrón a continuación.
Material: Mercerized cotton yarn nr. 12: black and orange
Hook: 1.2 mm
Measure: 5 cm diameter aprox
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
picot: 3 chains closed picot
sl.st: slip stitch
st/s: stitch/ es
rnd: round
rep **: repat from * to *
Instructions: Begin with an adjustable ring in black yarn.
Round 1: Ch 4 (the first 3 chs count as first dc in this rnd). *Make 1 dc + ch 1 in the ring*. Rep ** 9 times. Adjust the ring and join to the first dc of the rnd with 1 sl.st. Total: 10 dc in this rnd.
Round 2: Ch 7 (the first 3 chs count as first dc in this rnd). * Make 1 dc in the next st and ch 4*; rep ** until the end of the rnd. Join to the first dc of the rnd with 1 sl.st.
Round 3: Ch 9 (the first 3 chs count as first dc in this rnd). *Make 1 dc in the next st and ch 6*; rep ** until the end of the rnd. Join to the first dc of the rnd with 1 sl.st.
Round 4: Ch 2 and make 1 hdc + 1 picot in the first st. Make 3 hdc + 1 picot + 3 hdc in the next 6 chs. *Make 1 hdc + 1 picot in the next st; make 3 hdc + 1 picot + 3 hdc in the next 6 chs*. Rep ** until the end of the rnd. Join to the first dc of the rnd with 1 sl.st. Fasten off.
Finally, make 1 rnd of sl.st in orange yarn on rnd nr. 4. Fasten off.

Instrucciones: Comenzar haciendo un anillo ajustable con el hilo negro.
Vuelta 1: Hacer 4 cads (las primeras 3 cads cuentan como el 1º pa de esta vta). *Hacer 1 pa + 1 cad dentro del anillo*. Rep ** 9 veces. Ajustar el anillo y unir al 1º pa de la vta con 1 pe. Total: 10 pa en esta vta.
Vuelta 2: Hacer 7 cads (las primeras 3 cads cuentan como el 1º pa de esta vta). *Hacer 1 pa en el sgte pto + 4 cads*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta. Unir al 1º pto de la vta con 1 pe.
Vuelta 3: Hacer 9 cads (las primeras 3 cads cuentan como el 1º pa de esta vta). *Hacer 1 pa en el sgte pto + 6 cads*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta. Unir al 1º pa de la vta con 1 pe.
Vuelta 4: Hacer 2 cads + 1 mpa + 1 picot en el 1º pto. En las sgtes 6 cads de la vta anterior, hacer: 3 mpa + 1 pictot + 3 mpa. *Hacer 1 mpa + 1 picot en el sgte pto; en las sgtes 6 cads de la vta anterior, hacer: 3 mpa + 1 pictot + 3 mpa*. Rep ** hasta el final de la vta. Unir al 1º pto de la vta con 1 pe. Cortar el hilo y rematar.
Finalmente, hacer 1 vta de pe en hilo color naranja sobre los mpa de la 4ª vuelta. Cortar el hilo y rematar.
