Multi-award-winning artist and Archibald Prize finalist Zoe Young showcases her latest collection of large-scale acrylic works, depicting imaginary Hollywood dinner party scenes titled ‘Still. Life.’.

At her first Los Angeles exhibition, Zoe showcases a visual representation of the complex reality of human life due to the global pandemic.

Created while in lockdown from her home on the east coast of Australia, Zoe’s latest compilation serves as a fantasy of what life could be like in an alternate universe. The fact Zoe is unable to fly to Los Angeles to attend her exhibition only highlights the reality of the world’s current status. ‘Still. Life’ serves as a joyous reminder of experiences etched in our memories, as well as those we hope to enjoy again in the future.

‘Still. Life.’ opens on October 15 in Los Angeles. For more information, visit the Gruin Gallery.
