Since I’ve been doing a lot of traveling this year – mostly to National Parks or areas near National Forests – I ran into a few places where they were having wildfires or had recently had some that closed trails that we wanted to hike. With that fresh in my mind after the , I thought of Smokey Bear as a costume idea! I knew it would make a pretty simple costume that would work for those of us that need to keep cozy on Halloween when there’s a 50/50 chance we’ll have snow here by then… ick!
