Swedish kitchen company Nordiska Kök is providing ongoing inspiration this year. The latest project to land in my inbox features a stunning black valchromat kitchen designed and built by Nordiska Kök together with artist Emma Bernhard, whose incredible art I’ve been admiring for some time. I love getting a glimpse into the home of creatives and much like Emma’s large scale artworks, her new kitchen is one that really inspires.

A bold black granite countertop and black accents provide a striking contrast to the warm wooden tones. Comprising three kitchen sections, the design creates a unique and minimalist kitchen layout.

Beautiful styling by Sundling Kickén with Japanese influences and textural elements enhance the clean kitchen aesthetic. Showing respect for the stunning architecture and the surrounding landscape, the stylists chose beautiful ceramics by Kajsa Cramer, Västergården and Birgitta Jannesson, glass bowls by Martha Louise Karlsson and cutting board and wooden cutlery by Serax
