Without a doubt, our bathroom can be one of the dirtiest places in our home. However, that doesn’t mean it has to look terrible. With regular maintenance and some special cleaning, it will not only look great but be mold and grime-free.
Not sure where to get started? Below we are going to go over a few different cleaning tips to keep your bathroom looking beautiful.
Let’s get started!
For the shower
In order to keep your bathroom in excellent condition, you’ll want to stay on top of things frequently. One of the best ways to do this is with a squeegee that stays inside your shower. After every use, wipe down the glass to avoid hard water build-up.
For those deep clean days, you’ll want to get some eco-friendly grout cleaner and vinegar. Use a soft-bristled brush to remove mold and mildew, and make sure you rinse everything clean.
For the bath
Over time, your bath may lose its white color and become dull in appearance. To clean and bring it back to life, there are a few steps you should follow. Which include:
Wet the tub.
Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply to the dirt ring. (This will be left for 10 minutes)
Spray the tub with vinegar.
Use a soft cloth to scrub any marks.
Rinse and wipe with a clean cloth.
It’s a natural and effective process that works every time.

The toilet is one area in the bathroom that nobody really enjoys cleaning. However, it’s one of the most important. To tackle this job, you’ll want to remember that patience is key. Pour your toilet cleaner into the bowl, brush, and let sit for the recommended time frame. This will get rid of any stains and marks. If you’re still having trouble with hard water rings, invest in a pumice stone and scrub away.
For the sink

While most people think that cleaning your bathroom sink with a general all-purpose cleaner will do, it’s not going to keep it in great condition. Alongside the bench and basin, you’ll need to clean the drain weekly to prevent blockages.
Pull up the drain stopper and discard any debris to keep things looking (and smelling fresh). If you have a significant clog, you can find more information here
For the floor

Lastly, the final area to clean in your bathroom, and one of the dirtiest, is the floor. Dust and grime are collected and trapped in the moisture, causing grime, mold, and mildew. Luckily, it’s usually pretty easy to clean. A solution of vinegar, water and lemon juice should do the trick, but you can also use a paste of baking soda and water for those tough stains too. Just make sure that you dry everything after you have finished to keep the area safe.
And that’s it! By following the above, you can maintain a beautiful and clean bathroom.
Good luck!
