Drawn in by the light and the dynamic coastal views, this apartment in Melbourne’s Albert Park is the product of the savvy team at Griffiths Design Studio. Providing ample space throughout, the home is exquisitely detailed with classic entertaining in mind.

On entry, the timber panelled hallway is a subtle introduction to the homes entertaining area beyond. Warm, grey undertones and rich, velvety timber applications speak to all of us who have timeless luxury in mind. The well-appointed entertainer’s kitchen provides a stunning backdrop to the amenities, with the marble benchtop adding to the sensual tone of the space. Never missing an opportunity to immerse in the aesthetic, a mirrored splashback features behind the cooktop to capture the abounding views of inside and out. The thoughtfully-zoned dining area is finessed with a suspended brass pendant illuminating the entertainer’s sized dining table, while nearby a bespoke cocktail bar caters to the resident mixologist and wine connoisseur. This space is a haven for the hospitable.

The living area is sophisticated yet relaxed, striking a clear balance to the ever-changing coastal scenery. This aesthetic lingers throughout the remainder of the home, where clean lines are tempered with carefully selected accents to give the home a refined identity.

With entertaining, wellbeing and liveability in mind this design caters to all seasons – cool nights by the fireplace and balmy evenings on the balcony – there is no better place to live than by the sea.

Sleek, chic furnishings and a monochrome palette create class through simplicity.
