Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Almaty, a young family found their ideal home. It was a diamond in the rough, an apartment waiting for its potential to be unlocked.
Transforming a Blank Canvas into a Dream Home
Originally, the space was a mere skeletal structure with a load-bearing wall splitting it. We were tasked with transforming it into a family-friendly layout. Our challenge was squeezing two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen-living room, and an entrance hall into this finite area.
Designing a Modern, Yet Cozy Living Space
Our clients desired a modern ambiance but rejected anything overly harsh or cold. With the apartment owner’s passion for indoor plants and Scandinavian style in mind, we chose to tread the path of equilibrium.
Infusing Homeliness with Shades of Gray and Natural Decor
We decided to create a neutral backdrop by painting the apartment in soft, light gray hues. Then, to add warmth and vivacity, we carefully curated a selection of indoor plants and decor. This harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and natural elements perfectly encapsulated the clients’ vision for their home.
