This spacious historic flat (Styled by Anna van Keppel, photographed by Jocke Ono for Historiska Hem) features several custom-built ins, a crisp, spacious white kitchen, and a modern look with lots of character.
Spacious Kitchen with Lots of Counter Space and Storage
The spacious kitchen has ample countertop space. The large oven and stove top are set on one side of the room, under a huge window, providing you with a view outside while you cook.

Several built-in shelves are provided throughout, adding ample storage for dishware and appliances. The built-in coffee corner can be hidden behind a door when it’s not in use.

There’s room for a large dining table with chairs in the center, and a bench fits nicely under the second window on the perpendicular wall.

The unique wood grain on the table paires nicely with the contemporary dining chairs for an elegant look.

Just like the coffee corner, the sink can be hidden away in the cupboard when it’s not in use.

Spacious Living Room with Built-In Shelves
The spacious living room features a cream fabric sofa with pillows in the same fabric, paired with a modern coffee table with a grey stone countertop.

What used to be a doorway, is now turned into shelving providing a stunning display for books and decor objetcs.

An interior window looks into the hall while a traditional fireplace is poised to warm the space in style. A cute home office setup fits perfectly underneath the window and matches the style of the rest of the living space.

Bedroom with Charcoal Floor-to-Ceiling Cabinets
Charcoal floor-to-ceiling cabinets span one wall in the bedroom, offering generous storage. The crisp white wall color on the walls adds a lovely contrast to the wardrobe, while the blue bedding adds a cool touch.

Welcoming Guest Bedroom with Large Built-In Wardrobe
Guests are treated to a cozy space with large windows and a large built-in wardrobe. The light palette accentuates the amount of daylight coming in through the courtyard of the building.

A white built-in wardrobe features the same cabinet doors as the ones used in the kitchen. The white fronts blend in with the white walls and door of the space.

A second home office table can be found on the wall opposite the bed, which allows two people to work from home in this apartment.

Bathroom with Big Bathtub and Muted Neutral Colors
A large bathtub with steps and a rain showerhead dominate the bathroom. Muted, neutral colors in beige and white give a peaceful feel, while the built-in shelves that are scattered about lend a subtle sophistication. A small vanity with a wood cabinet base sits close by.

The small tie on the wall and floors of the bathroom lends the space with a softly textured look.

Quaint Powder Room with Sink and Mirror
The powder room is a quaint, tiny space with a toilet, sink, and mirror, just the right size for quick touch-ups. Also here, you can find the beige small tiling on the floor and walls.

Space Efficient Laundry Room with Hanging Rod
Several functional add ons make laundry day a breeze in this small yet well-planned laundry room. There’s room for folding, hanging, sorting, and of course, washing, all in one convenient area.

Hallway and Entryway with Built-In Shelves, Racks, and Pegs
When you enter this home, you will find yourself in the hallway, the hub for the entire flat. Custom wall shelving give you a place to stow shoes, hang coats, and store bags. It is the perfect welcome home.
