I’ve been looking so much forward to sharing this with you! Remember I showed you the photos from last week, now the is ready to be given away to one of my readers. The Corona Chair was designed in 1964 by Poul M. Volther, is simple and charismatic like the wreath or corona that can be seen around the sun during a full solar eclipse. Corona became a classic a long time ago and has already appeared in numerous films, fashion editorials, and music videos. Poul M. Volther was inspired by the human anatomy when he designed Corona which is why it looks light but is actually as strong as a spine. And as comfortable and soft as it looks like too. I’m a bit sad I am not the one who will be curling up in this one for fall. Only visiting my home for photos.
Corona Spectrum has undergone an elegant transformation from the original Corona and is now available in a variety of inspiring colour combinations where frames and upholstery either match or contrast each other. Colorful, contemporary and young at heart.
For this particular Corona I got to choose the fabric and the color of the steel frame. The fabric is a beautiful short pile velour fabric from Kvadrat/Raf Simons in a warm beige color, the frame lacquered in a color called pearl mouse grey. I am sure it will fit so many living rooms out there, or you might want to place it somewhere else?
