Weaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWe’re so excited to be joining in on the Weaving Within Reach blog tour! Our friend Anne, from Flax and Twine, just released another book and we’re so happy for her and cannot get over how gorgeous the book is! It’s filled with amazing woven projects and we’re feeling so inspired by all that she shares. We love that she’s taken the weaving trend and brought new projects to the scene, not just the typical wall hangings (though we love those too!).Weaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWeaving Within Reach is filled with beautiful projects that anyone can learn to make. The book has both no-loom and loom projects, so no matter what level you’re at – there’s great projects to inspire you to get creating! One of those projects is this Windowpane Hand Towel that Anne had woven and was kind enough to send over to us. We love the design and colors and it fits so well in Caitlin’s kitchen!Weaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWeaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWeaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtOne of the projects from the book that immediately captured our interest were these Leather Lanyards! The design of them reminded us of childhood days spent making boondoggle projects and we couldn’t help but dive right in on making a few of these! We also were swooning over the About-The-Town Tote (pictured below) and added those to our want-to-make-list!Weaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWeaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtWeaving Within Reach Tour @themerrythoughtIf you’re like us and love being inspired by new crafting projects and want to give weaving a try – or maybe you consider yourself an expert weaver and just need some new inspiration – you can purchase Weaving Within Reach here. We’re also giving a copy of the book over on our Instagram account, so head on over there for a chance to win one!
