I think most of you know the iconic Vipp kitchens, which have gained popularity for bespoke spaces ever since they were released 10 years ago. This week, Vipp released their second kitchen design: V2, which is the modular system of the V1 kitchen wrapped in mother nature’s palette. The V2 kitchen is made out of dark oak and Jura marble in a design language that take us from Vipp’s routes in Denmark all the way to Japan (Japandi as we know it).
The Jura marble is a fine grained limestone rich in fossils from the German Alp region which is carefully combined with carved cabinets in European oak. While stone and oak are new materials for Vipp (at least in their kitchens), you will recognise extruded aluminium in the details of the design as well, which is Vipp’s trademark material.

While our first kitchen made in steel presented a raw and refined industrial design, the V2 is crafted in wood, stone, glass and metal adding a new organic tactility and materiality to kitchen design.”
