Architect’s house set on a hill
Butler Armsden architects designed this house perched on a hill, a wooded expanse overlooking the Valley of the Moon in the American West, as a family refuge, warm and enveloping, bright and spacious. Three connected volumes of different heights surround the centre of the house’s base, and large bay windows surround the forest. Photo: Joe Fletcher
