On the last episode, we saw Joan and Jess explore Washington DC, sample moonshine, and line-dance their way through Nashville. There’s no doubt the first leg of their USA journey was one for the books, but this episode is jam-packed with even more epic experiences. So sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride — it’s time for another dose of adventure in the United States!
First up, Joan and Jess head to Memphis, Tennessee, the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll! Starting with a tour through Sun Studios — a famous recording studio that’s welcomed the likes of Elvis and Johnny Cash — they waste no time exploring all the city’s must-see sights. Joan is a huge fan of blues music (did you know he’s a talented musician himself?), so he was beyond thrilled to visit B.B. King’s Blues Club — an iconic restaurant and mecca for music-lovers.
After Memphis, the group makes a pit stop in Louisiana’s wetlands for a swamp tour through the bayou! Here, they go in search of alligators and learn all about the local wildlife that calls this diverse ecosystem home.
Next up is New Orleans — a vibrant and dynamic city that’s unlike anywhere else on the planet! Joan and Jess experience every facet of New Orleans. Watch the interactive episode on TourRadar to join all their adventures: from a cruise on the Mississippi River to a ghost tour through the haunted streets of the French Quarter and a guided walk of the gorgeous Garden District. And, of course, they indulge in the city’s world-famous sweet treat: beignets (AKA French-style pastries that are deep-fried to perfection and topped with a heaping scoop of powdered sugar). All of their New Orleans adventures are unforgettable, but a night out on Bourbon Street is a highlight for the whole group!
