Through Tom’s signature holistic approach, the design is sympathetic to the space and purpose of the gallery. “The collaboration acted as a celebration of Australian artisanship through both locally sourced materials and craftsmanship, with the final collection made entirely in Sydney,” Tom says.

Celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2021, Tom’s furniture installation forms part of a significant transformation for the Art Gallery of New South Wales scheduled for completion in 2022.
