Looking for something new to stitch? I’ve just launched a small collection of embroidery kits that have everything you need to sew a pair of Calico Companions onto a shirt. The kits have everything you need; I’ve included a shirt, a step-by-step instruction booklet, stick-on cat patterns, DMC embroidery thread, a needle, and thread snips.
The shirts in the kits are all different and range in size from XS to XL. You can see the shirt you’d receive, as well as their measurements, in each listing on Etsy.
To successfully complete these kitties, you’ll use the satin stitch, the long and short stitch, and backstitch. These are basic techniques that I outline in my instructions (or you can e), so beginner embroiderers should be able to complete them with no problem. But, it will present a fun challenge for people who have stitched before.
