I was talking with few people and as the year ends most people start thinking about their bucket list for 2019. I started wondering if makers and artist have something different on it form the typical: Visit Bali, buying a house, write a book etc.
I’ve asked a few of my favorite makers if they would share their bucket list with us. Each week, you will discover what’s on their list as well as few more insights.
This week we have Lindsey Campbell . She is the weaving queen, she is mum and she has designed products for Anthropologie, she has a weaving book coming out and she collaborated with @craftersbox.

Hello Lindsey,
thank you for taking the time to sharing with us your bucket list.
1. We are coming to the end of the year and I’m curious to know if you have a bucket list you check or fill regularly.
I write down a list of personal and business goals at the beginning of each year. I am always filling out a calendar with potential projects I want to accomplish to keep me on track, or else I will easily get distracted and not move forward with the bigger picture of my goals. Also, a goal for my business in general. Why am I doing what I do? How can I use it to help my family, my customers and my community?
2. Can you share with us the top 3 things on your list?
1. Daily scripture study. I am a religious person, and setting Christ as my priority each day helps me center my crazy family/work balance.
2. Be more organized. Life goes by too quickly, especially with a young family, so I need to make sure I’m organized. Harder than it seems!
3. Sales goals. These are personal goals to push myself to continue thinking about my business, not just as an artist or a hobby, but as a way to help support my family.
3. Do you have a plan or tips on how to be more organized?
I have a giant calendar on the wall of my kitchen, and I update it weekly for my business and family events together, because they two are so closely intertwined at this stage of my life.

4. If you could learn a craft in 2019, which one would you try?
I would like to learn felting or woodworking!
5. If you could ask me a question, what would it be?
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned this year?
My answer: I’ve learned to say no to projects/work that is not bringing me joy or is helping my business to grow.
