This week on
Standard Chevron is made by placing increases and decreases in the correct places, this variation is no different, we will be working the increases and decreases in a more open style!
I’m using the wonderful
The stitch is worked on multiple of 10 ch, plus 3 ch for the foundation row.
For my sample, I’ve chained 23.
1: 1 tr into 4th ch from hook, 1 tr in next 3 ch.
*Miss 2 ch, 1 tr in next 4 ch, ch 2, 1 tr in next 4 ch.
Repeat from * to last 6 ch, miss 2 ch, 1 tr in next 3 ch, 2 tr in last ch, turn. After row 1 you can clearly see the lovely waves forming.
2: ch 3 (counts as 1 tr), 1 tr in st at base of ch, 1tr in next 3 sts, *miss 2 sts, 1 tr in next 3 sts,
Repeat row 2 until you reach the desired length.
Why not try working the chevron in stripes, just change colour every row!
