Learn to work the Peephole Chevron stitch with Anna Nikipirowicz in this week’s Stitch School lesson!

This week on Stitch School I am going to show you how to make the fantastic Peephole Chevron Stitch, which creates a chevron style fabric but with eyelets for a lacy look. This gives the fabric a gorgeous drape, making it ideal for blankets and scarves.

Standard Chevron is made by placing increases and decreases in the correct places, this variation is no different, we will be working the increases and decreases in a more open style!

Materials

I’m using the wonderful Cascade 220 yarn and a 4.50mm crochet hook.  This tutorial uses UK crochet terminology.

The stitch is worked on multiple of 10 ch, plus 3 ch for the foundation row.

For my sample, I’ve chained 23.

1: 1 tr into 4th ch from hook, 1 tr in next 3 ch.

Repeat row 2 until you reach the desired length.

Why not try working the chevron in stripes, just change colour every row!
