This week is all about what’s happening in the Nordic design world at the moment, and I have chosen for my first post of a special series featuring the most exciting new collections right now.
For their latest catalog, they went for a darker mood compared to with a calm, sophisticated feel and timeless palette of mostly grey, green, burgundy, blue and black. The assortment is designed with a foundation in geometrics, staying true to the Danish brand’s signature style. You’ll find a great balance of textures and sleek surfaces, simple lines and sculptural silhouettes. I am a fan of their elevated plant pots and watering cans made from grooved galvanised steel, perfect to give an industrial chic touch to the home or office. A tall drinking glass was added to their Ripple glassware collection, as well as circular versions of their popular plant boxes.
