When I was contacted by Simply Crochet to participate in their hook to hook challenge I was head over heels! If you haven’t already seen the hook to hook challenge, it is a designer contest between two participants who are given a specific kind of yarn to work their projects!

I and fellow crocheter Kate Eastwood (@just_pootling on IG) were both given five shades of Designer Yarns Noro Silk Garden Solo yarn and challenged to design some wall art.
I used the five shades to whip up a hanging mandala hoop; inspired by the earthy tones of the gorgeous yarn a calming summery mandala seemed only appropriate to make!

Kate decided to go with a fantastic summery garland!
You can read more on the two designs here and now the fun part!
You can vote for your favourite of these two designs on the Simply Crochet Instagram page – double tap on the one you prefer. And one lucky reader will win all the DY Noro Silk Garden Solo  yarn that you need to make the project.
The competition closes on Wednesday 28th June 2017 at 1pm!

If you decide to make the mandala, make sure you to use # littlethingsblogged or # ltblogged so that I can see, or tag me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter!
