See How Designers Put Diverse Kravet Fabrics & Pieces to Work

It’s one thing to see furniture and fabrics in a showroom or gallery, and another thing entirely to see them brought to life in a client’s home. There’s nothing like seeing real-life designs to spark one’s imagination in putting together a new room. Here, we show how three designers—Nadia Watts, Lisa Wolfe, and Lisa Scalo McMenamin—used fabrics and furnishings from Kravet, Lee Jofa, and Brunschwig & Fils to take their work to the next level and create truly livable spaces for their clients. From sofa selections to upholstery fabrics to minor touches like trim, these designers had their hands in every element of crafting these homes.

In this Denver home, Nadia Watts created a livable, welcoming space for her clients while also incorporating their extensive art collection and keeping the focus on their interesting pieces. Here in the great room, she created a seating area using the Oxford Armchairs by Brunschwig & Fils, while the sofa is covered in Kravet’s Verdure – Oatmeal fabric.

Lisa Wolfe Design was tasked with creating a casual, family-friendly design for a home in Lake Bluffs, Illinois. The biggest task was replacing the giant sofa in the living room. She selected Kravet’s Merrimack Sectional, which was also able to lead the room’s color story thanks to a rich blue velvet from Kravet’s Smart Stripe Velvet Performance collection (Kravet Smart Fabric 33345-5050). “The blue sets off all the other selections; it was a bold choice and I’m thrilled the client went with us there,” said Wolfe.
