In a city notorious for its lack of sleep, what more could you want in an apartment than a space that encourages rest and relaxation? Surrounded by all the hub of
DESIGN
Opening up what could have been cramped and segmented space, Robert Young Architects have created open communal spaces for cooking, dining and living, positioned to take in the views afforded by the enviable location. Tucked slightly back are the more private areas such as the bedrooms and bathrooms, gently signalled by the timber cladding that evokes a Japanese ryokan style aesthetic (and accommodates some cleverly-concealed storage).

In the kitchen, sleek white laminate and marble match nicely with the natural tones of the exposed brick feature wall and soft textural blinds. Oak bench stools add further texture and warmth to the space.
