Renovation of an old apartment in Madrid
The state of this apartment was close to total decay, and therefore, at the time of considering the renovation, it was not possible to preserve the original materials that were replaced by contemporary coatings and equipments. With a surface area of 120m², and located in a 19th century building in the central district of La Latina in Madrid, it has benefited from improvements in energy efficiency, with the installation of thermal insulation under the roof, and meticulous structural consolidation.Photo: David Ballester
