KRM House is a pavilion-style house located in Latvia, completed in 2019 by Open Ad Architects. This house offers 360-degree views of the rural landscape. It is suitable to be a vacation home or a place to stay outside the city, to be located in sparsely populated areas where wildlife through more common than people.

Designed to be as minimalistic as possible to maximize the vibrant natural setting. The exterior is clad in tar-treated pine while the decoration is larch. Being outside, the deck provides plenty of space to spend great time in the fresh air with stunning natural views. Through the covered windows and part of the deck, the outdoors can be enjoyed all year round.

The minimalist story still continues indoors, no loose ends or excessive features. The purity of the environment helps the residents to adjust to the mindset of the holidays and put off their busy urban life.

Traditionally, Latvian homes have several forms of courtyards and this is important to their owners. For example, the architects designed a terraced garden to create privacy pouch and strengthen ownership of the premises. The rest of the landscape is allowed to grow wild in order to minimize the impact on the natural environment.
