KNITTING PATTERNS
The is one of my favorite transitional garments from winter to spring. The shell-like tank is thick but made with Lion Brand Coboo, which is a cotton-bamboo blend, it’s also cool enough for warm weather. It can easily be layered under a blazer or jacket! The bound edges and princess seam shaping at the waist gives this piece a high end look that only requires easy level skills.
What says spring better than a long boho poncho/duster/cardi? The is quick and simple to make with all of its drop stitches and beginner level skills. I love this piece worn over long sleeves for chillier days, dresses for fancy occasions, a simple jeans and tee look, or even as a swimsuit cover up. It’s truly versatile and suits so many occasions!
The name of the says it all! This airy, loose-knit pullover is so lightweight and breezy that you’ll barely know it’s on. Worked up with ultra-simple garter stitch, the silhouette is elevated with minimal short rows (I promise they’re not scary!) along the back hem to give it a chic high-low look. This sweater pairs well with cut-offs, pants, or a sundress.
The is one of my favorite accessories for spring because of its versatility. I’ve always loved a triangle wrap for its ability to be worn in different ways, and this drop stitch boho number makes it lightweight and effortless. It’s truly the perfect companion for any outing as it can be worn more like a scarf with the point in the front to warm the chest, or draped over the shoulders for a thin extra layer.
The is by far my best-selling knitting pattern for spring. It was the first pattern I was able to grade into eight sizes, and it’s so flattering on all body types! Seeing finished projects from this pattern season after season proves it has lots of closet staying power, and it’s the kind of piece you will want in every single color.
Originally released in 2014, the is the oldest pattern in the suites, and has consistently been a top seller year after year. Something about spring always gives me boho vibes, and while I don’t generally design many feminine-heavy items, the is an exception. The lacy stitches are all easy and repetitive, but the combination of them takes this piece to the next level and makes it look so much more advanced. I know very few makers who have only made one of these, because all of your friends will immediately ask for one for themselves as soon as they see it!
Part of my 2020 Spring Safari Collection, the is a slinky, sophisticated staple that can easily be dressed up or down and has such a classic look that you’ll reach for it over and over. Worked up in Lion Brand’s Truboo, the fabric is so soft you will not want to put the project down either!
One of my favorite spring layering pieces is the . It’s perfect to grab on the way out the door if you need a light extra layer, and the imitation drop stitches keep it breezy and cool. Wearing this piece makes you feel all sorts of ethereal, and it suits any outfit it’s paired with.
Bags are quite possibly my favorite things to crochet, so I had to include two in this suite. The is such a fun purse, and sturdy cotton yarn gives it structure and shape that makes it look professional sophisticated. It’s a great companion for everyday use or special events alike.
Lightweight scarves are such a great transitional accessory because they’re often big enough to serve as a thin shawl or can be gathered up and wrapped around the neck like a traditional scarf.
