If you’re not familiar with , pay attention! With their vibrant and extensive 60-color palette, these versatile yarns are a color-lover’s dream! In addition, Paintbox labels feature four die-cut circles so you can see the yarn right through from the front, which is a really nice touch. If you’ve seen them around the yarn world, it might be because their well-crafted brand images stand out from the crowd, incorporating paint-inspired imagery and (surprise!) lots of color. For this review, I got my hands on some yarn, a lightweight cotton that comes in 50g skeins, so it’s super baby project friendly and colorwork friendly. In a couple weeks, I’ve got a free knitting pattern designed with 5 colors of Cotton DK, and I can attest to its being perfectly suited to summer knit & crochet projects! Plus, remind me, have I mentioned the color situation yet? 😉 The 60-color palette means that you can get this yarn in everything from subtle greys (yes, multiple!) to vibrant neons and a lot in between.

It’s also a great option for any of the knit OR crochet ornaments in my series, particularly if you’re looking to make any of those (there are 20 to choose from so far!) in a particular color palette.
